Mariano relocated to San Diego from his longtime home in Santa Cruz, CA in July of 2012 to join the Veterans United Home Loans of San Diego branch. After 4 years as a Processor, and 2 more as a Processing Supervisor, Mariano transitioned into his current role as Loan Officer. When away from the office, Mariano enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 sons, playing disc golf and reading about economics and politics.
Mariano went above and beyond in updating us and making our refinance easy and honest.
Very nice and personable. Kept me in the loop, explained everything and made the whole process very easy.
Mariano is very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. He’s great with responding in a timely manner too.
i called him on a Saturday and he returned my call quickly. Thank you Mariano Dowgaluk
Mariano was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us.
My overall experience with Veterans United was phenomenal. Always very welcoming, engaging and down to earth folks to work with. Communications we're almost always very quickly responded to and all of my questions were answered and often times additional options were even presented. I would not only recommend them but will definitely be using them for future home purchases.
I have PTSD the last thing I need is for 4 different people to be hounding me at work.
Response from Veterans United
We appreciate your willingness to share with us Porshia, and we're terribly sorry if our communication efforts caused you any stress. We strive to provide information as quickly as possible to keep you up-to-date with your home purchase.
We pre qualified over the phone then met in person. Mariano was friendly yet efficient. The list of documents he provided satisfied most of the underwriter’s needs which is no small task. He kept in touch during the whole process and was able to answer all of our questions.
