As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. Communication was fantastic at the beginning until about 2 weeks before signing. Not quite as fast of response that we had been having but was probably spoiled. LOVED the online To Do List and appreciated the check in texts or phone calls. With so many people to check in with there was always someone to get an answer from. I would definitely use them again and would recommend.

Underwriter was very concerned about funding this loan because of the borrowers debts. Sister of borrower tried to assist by helping to clear/pay off the debt. Turned out OK but only until there was a back-up loan on the table.Perhaps Veterans United comes together with there underwriting department to resolve challenging scenarios before they get out of hand, as in Brian’s situation.Thanks!

Overall my experience was beyond exceptional. My home buying team was amazing all around. From my Realtor Dylan and his team, loan officer Aaron, loan coordinator Christy and Dez our concierge. Everything one did an amazing job. Our entire process from finding a home to getting our keys to our new home took a month. Thank you Veterans United and everyone on our team!!
