Last thing to mention is, I’ve mentioned prior to closing I wanted to be on bi weekly payments, I wished it would’ve been done prior to knowing I have to do it myself. I just felt mislead into believing it was going to be taken care of as I was told. Other then those two concerning things experience was good.
The Team assisting us made our process smooth and efficient. Every question was answered in a timely manner and all our concerns were addressed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Well where do I start I had a great! time working with Charles he took care of us and we closed on time even after I missed my closing date with another lender. Long story short I was originally working with Charles until my wife and shopped around for a lower interest rate. We started working with Brian Cooke from sunny hills financial (bad mistake) we where lead on for 3 weeks thinking we were going to close on time. Come closing day Brian calls me to inform me I wasn’t approved for the loan amount. I contacted Charles to let him know what had happened and he said he could still get me closed on time. Original closing date was the 24th so luckily I got an extension. Charles and his team did the impossible and got me closed in a matter of 10 days because it was Memorial Day weekend. With that being said if your working with veterans united get to the finish line with them do not take shortcuts because chances are you will go through the same experience as me. I can’t thank Charles enough thank so much my friend.
20 out of 10!!! Our loan officer Jake, went above and beyond to help us get this loan approved and funded. It was an atypical loan as we were inheriting the home and had to navigate through a few issues. Jake was helpful, informative and encouraging with each bump in the road, researching and working with his team to find solutions. He always kept us in the loop as to where we were in the process. We've had many home loans over the years but never one this difficult. It would've been easy to give up if it had not been for Jake's help and encouragement. Nicole was our transaction coordinator and she was another 20 out of 10! Nicole was helpful, efficient and quick to respond. She was right on top of everything that was needed to get through the process. It's very evident that these two work well together, know what they're doing and really care about their clients.
