Loan Officer Jake Ferguson brings enthusiasm and excitement to his role here at the Veterans United San Diego. Jake prides himself in his attention to detail and the lengths he is willing to go to help his borrowers obtain homeownership. Jake is one of the in-house seminar hosts and specializes in all aspects of VA financing. Outside of work you will usually find Jake enjoying the San Diego weather with his fiance, Courtney, and their two dogs, Ollie (Italian Greyhound) and Finn (Sloughi). He also has a passion for weight lifting, traveling the world, golfing (he's not good) and spending time with his family.

When we started this process we were very nervous to get our hopes up only to get disappointed in the end. Jake had a way of making me feel confident that there would not be any surprises as long as I was open with anything that concerned me. He would then instantly work on our behalf to acquire the information we needed to continually reassure us that we had nothing to worry about. The reason this is important for me to point out is because technically it is not a loan officers job to manage buyers emotions as doing so does not ensure success in making it through underwriting but it did help us stay hopeful and positive during one of the most stressful yet impactful event of our lives! For that we forever be grateful!
