Veterans United Home Loans excels at customer service, and really streamlines and expedites the loan process to make things as easy as possible for its customers. They really put Veterans first. Since they made things so easy for our original home loan, we wanted to refinance with them as well. I would highly recommend Mariano Dowgaluk as the go-to Loan Specialist. He is always so patient and kind in explaining things that are difficult to understand. He is also very smart with numbers and is able to quickly provide loan estimates. We got our original home loan with Veterans United, and I was so impressed with Mariano's outstanding customer service skills, that when I was thinking about refinancing he was the first person I reached out to. We had an incredible experience with Veterans United and their Loan Officer, Merry Christiani. I would highly recommend using them when buying a home. We went into escrow on a house right before Covid-19 shut everything down in California and we were still able to close on the house in 21 days and have a smooth and personal experience working with them.
I would recommend to be more engaged and communicate better before sending emails and links explain to the customer what you are sending them and briefly go over it. It was times that we received email asking to sign but we didnt know what we were looking at until we did research and ask the agent or someone else. Overall Mariano did a nice job small rooms of improvement but we would definitely recommend him to future homebuyers.
