This was my first home buying experience and I really didn’t know what to expect. Shawn Hall was phenomenal! He was very attentive, he made sure I understood everything that was going on and set my expectations well. He is very passionate about helping people and that showed thought the whole process. His communication was top tier! My situation was different because we were supposed to close on one house and it fell through due to the seller, however Shawn was extremely positive and guided us through and we closed on the second home. Shawn did make me feel like a number that most lenders would make you feel like. He made me feel like a person that deserved the home that I wanted and made sure to do all that he could to make sure I was taken care of and for that I am truly grateful! VU was very helpful and even covered a few thousand in rate extension fees and some underestimations in the final disclosure. They helped forward mail, setup utilities and had partner deals on home security, internet, etc. Overall, very helpful throughout the process and ended up getting exactly what we needed - a house - with only a few thousand out of pocket! I cannot thank Chris & Landon enough for their phenomenal work. They got us to the closing table in less than 30 days! Their proactive approach meant everything was provided to underwriting immediately, which was a huge help as I was using a POA from out of the area. No hiccups at all. Second time using VU and they still manage to impress me with their efficiency and professionalism.

It's been 30 years since I bought a house, and it felt somewhat overwhelming. With that being said, everyone involved, from the real estate agent, to the concierge, to the loan team and legal folks....it was all fairly painless. It was professionally handled. Everyone involved kept my blood pressure in check and kept me very well informed every step of the way!
