This was a very intense process. Veterans United met my needs, but I haven't heard from anyone since I closed. I called last week to inquire about my payment schedule because it was not included in my paperwork. Luckily, a woman from the Settlement company called me this morning and confirmed that the information was missing from my file and that I should call someone from Veterans United. My rating would have been a 10 if there had been some follow-up.

Our original experience with VU was exceptional. We felt the refinance started out the same way, but kind of fell off. We were originally told our loan would close in 10 days, we finally closed with only days to spare.
Communication during the refinance was not as dynamic as before. We just felt "forgtte" once the process began, maybe we just fell through the cracks.

Thank you for sharing this. I’m really glad your first experience with us felt strong, and I’m sorry the refinance didn’t feel the same. When you’re told things should move quickly and then the timeline stretches with quieter communication, it’s easy to feel like you slipped through the cracks. I can understand why that left you disappointed, especially after trusting us before.
